Thanks for sharing. That red color is very unique .Got
Bear's hair cut the other day because he was so hot....
and I sort of wish I hadn't. He is still precious, but the
other was just cuter. We'll let it  grow out when it cools
off. He is so skinny, and always hungry, so I may feed
him a little bit more. Fell off the bed last night, and cried
a lot, but didn't break anything. May have to put pillows
down on the floor if he's going to go exploring. I love
my puppy a lot, and so glad he is a part of the family.
Let's pray for rain.

Hope Homer is as happy as Harvey (Bear) seems to be.
He is getting a hair cut this morning. I love the fluffy
look, but he has been so hot (107 yesterday in
Amarillo) and the vet said he needed a trim. More later.

Well, I've had the little boy almost a week and I thought
I'd get you caught up on our adventures. We got home
Friday evening okay, but not without some mishaps,
but that's okay. It was nothing I couldn't clean up.
Friday night was a little rough, too, crying, etc., but
since then he's been sleeping all night (with me, of
course). He is so precious and Lolly adores him. He
was  totally submissive to her at first, and she liked
that. Now they are buddies, and they play together and
run in the back yard. She lets him know when she
doesn't want to mess with him, and he seems to
understand.  The grand children adore him, too. The
other night I was telling them that I wanted to call him
...something Bear..  and Emma said his name should be
Emma's Bear, which I thought was cute.
I'll send you some pictures later. He has already been
to his first little league game. I took him to the vet on
Monday and he had to get some medicine.
His ear had lots of hair in them, which the vet cleaned
out, and they smelled yeasty so we got some drops for
that. Also Bear had had a little coughing and a couple
of times he spit up white foamy stuff which made me
think he had tonsil problems, but the vet said no... that
he might such have a little allergies or kennel cough
and she put him on some antibiotics just to be sure. I'm
sure there has been a difference in climate and heat
and water, as well, that he's had to adjust to.  He feels
great now and is running and playing a lot. Has a great
appetite. I adore him, as well, and think he is so cute.
Thanks for everything.
We'll keep you updated.

He is well-loved, and reportedly slept

Pat, here is a picture of Bear
being welcomed into the family by
Emma, age 4.

Hello Pat
Just wanted to update you on Nala (formerly Dee Dee). She has a
GREAT personality and is full of energy. She is very social and
gets along great with all dogs as well as our bunny. Nala is also
very smart, she was very easy to house break and catches on fast
to new tricks. We're currently teaching her how to ring a bell when
she wants to go outside. Thank you so much for providing us with
this great little puppy she has been a great addition to our family.

Jennifer & Heath

Thanks Jennifer & Heaath  for the picture and the sweet note.  I am
so pleased that you chose the right puppy.
